Waffles
  1. 2 1/2 cups oat flour
  2. 1/2 cup Orgain Sweet Vanilla Bean Protein Powder
  3. 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. 1 cup Orgain Lightly Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  7. 3 eggs
  8. 1/4 cup molasses
  9. 2 tsp. cinnamon
  10. 1/2 tsp. cloves
  11. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  12. Powdered sugar for topping
Syrup
  1. 1/2 cup Orgain Lightly Sweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
  2. 1/2 cup buttermilk
  3. 1/2 cup butter
  4. 2 cups sugar
  5. 1 tsp. baking soda
  6. 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Make the syrup: mix almond milk, buttermilk, butter and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. (It will bubble up when you add this so be careful!) Set aside while you make the waffles.
  2. Preheat a waffle iron.
  3. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until incorporated. Don’t overmix.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook until firm.
  5. Drizzle with vanilla syrup and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
